Microsoft's Opencut RT tablet has been overwhelming PCWorld's daily news cycles lately, just there are plenty of other manufacturers militant for attention as we feeler the Windows 8 launch day connected Oct. 26. Luckily, Microsoft's partners (we can even so call them that, right?) are all providing some truly unique and intriguing hardware options. Asus Vivo Tab RT

Dell went with a screen that can flip on its horizontal axis to transform from an Ultrabook to a tab. Sony Duo 11

Acer Iconia W700
This 11.6-inch, 1920-by-1080 device screams tablet. Take down the design: There's no clamshell apparatus seeable. Nevertheless, the W700 has the components of an Ultrabook. For extra productivity, it comes equipped with a Bluetooth keyboard and a dock that props information technology up to 70 degrees for your viewing comfort. The dock also does a decent caper of holding up the W700 in portrayal mode. Information technology may not advance any beauty contests, but the Latitude 10 should find its direction into at the least few IT workers' hearts. This 10-incher has a 1366-by-768 touchscreen and a lasting swappable battery for those long periods outside from a charger. Though losing it won't take a chanc your data, leaving it on the bus is still frowned upon.

Acer Aspire U serial publication
The Acer Aspire U serial includes the 27-inch 7600U (right) and 23-edge in 5600 (left) to ostensibly fit any all-in-unrivalled need. Lenovo Lynx

Like many of the devices on this list, the Satellite U925t is hard to define. Similar to the Sony Duo 11, I would consider this a slider-intercrossed. The 12.5-inch HD touch screen slides back up and reveals a spacious cover-well-lighted keyboard, transforming information technology from tab to ultrabook. It comes packed with an Intel Heart i5, 128GB SSD, Mount Rushmore State reader, HDMI, USB 3.0 and a full version of Windows 8. Altogether this at rightful over three pounds and under an inch intense. This one and only volition set you back $1149.99.

H.P. Spectre One
If touchscreens aren't actually your expressive style, you May want to investigate the Spectre One.
